You can count on them to go over your pre-op instructions with you and help assess your needs post-surgery. We can even attend your pre-operative appointment with you. We are dedicated to advising you on how to prepare your recovery destination so that you can recover and heal comfortably. Luxe Concierge RN is the nursing care you’ve been searching for, and they will be right by your side during your time of need.

Before surgery, it’s normal for many questions to come to mind. Medical procedures and surgery can be quite stressful. You might wonder, “Will they take good care of me while I sleep?” or “During surgery, will I wake up?” It’s natural to worry about how painful it might be and when you’ll be able to shower. There are so many questions and so much uncertainty, from concerns about blood on your dressing to worries about medication side effects and when you’ll be able to eat.

To ease your worries, we’re here to help you understand what’s typically expected. We’ll take the time to answer all your questions and find the information you need. With your permission, we can even make phone calls to your doctor to ease any pre-op anxiety.

Anxiety can cause stress, which can interfere with the healing process. Let us shoulder your burdens during this critical time of recovery. We’re committed to caring for you and helping you feel better. In preparation for your big day, here are some things you can consider helping to ease your mind:

  1. Take the time to carefully read and understand all the pre-op instructions provided by your surgeon, including any necessary lab work and preparation.
  2. Make sure to jot down all the questions you have for your surgeon.
  3. It’s important to discuss and confirm your pain management plan.
  4. Note down any questions you have for your anesthesiologist. Also, remember to inform the anesthesia team if you or your family have a history of adverse reactions to anesthesia.
  5. Arrange for a companion, whether it’s a family member, friend, or a Luxe Concierge RN, to be with you on the day of the procedure.
